What an affiliate link is
The tools we review run affiliate programmes. When you follow one of our affiliate links and buy, the vendor pays us a commission out of its own margin. You pay the same price, and nothing is added to your bill.
Which links are affiliate links
The buttons marked Ad that go to Instantly, Smartlead, Saleshandy, Snov.io or lemlist. Links to our own pages are not.
Until a programme approves us, its buttons go to the vendor’s own site without tracking. We label them Ad anyway, so nothing changes for you when the tracking starts.
How we label them
- Every vendor button says Ad on the button itself, so you know before you click.
- Next to every group of vendor buttons, a line says that we receive a commission when you buy through our affiliate links.
- Every review says at the top that it contains ads.
- Vendor links carry
rel="sponsored nofollow", which tells search engines they’re paid links.
We follow the UK advertising rule that ads must be obviously identifiable before you engage with them (CAP Code rule 2.1), and we say we receive a commission rather than that we may. If you see a vendor link here without an Ad label, please tell us and we’ll fix it.

What we don’t do
- We don’t accept payment for a review, a ranking position or a recommendation.
- No vendor sees a review before it’s published.
- A commission never changes a verdict. If a tool is a poor fit for the job, we say so whether or not we earn anything from it.

Each one pays a share of what you pay, at a rate it sets. The rates differ, which is exactly why they never decide our picks.
